The aim of the project is to reflect on wholeness, fractured across time, much like the Alpha and the Omega—between birth and death, between moral law and human life. A person enters life through the rite of baptism and leaves it to the sounds of liturgical chant. That which came from the earth returns to the earth. At the same time, the project critically reexamines the role of the Moscow Patriarchate and its religious rhetoric, which is used to legitimize Russian aggression against Ukraine. Christian symbols and liturgical elements in the work take on a dual meaning: they simultaneously serve as a reminder of universal human values and raise questions about the moral responsibility of religious institutions when their discourse becomes a tool for justifying violence.
The innovation of the project lies in the critical reflection of current events in Ukraine.
